Garden Club Meeting Reschedule to February 9th

The Whitehall Garden Club has rescheduled its first meeting of 2022 to Wednesday morning February 9th at the Borden Conference Room. Serendipitous for those of you who couldn’t attend the previous meeting but are available to do so on the 9th!

Social time begins at 9:30. The business meeting will commence at 10:00 with a Fast Five (minute) presentation by member Glenna Waltee. She will demonstrate a floral design to make yourself, your friend, or your loved one an arrangement for Valentine’s Day. The principles demonstrated can be applied to an arrangement for any occasion. Fortunately, our guest speaker, Vaia Errett, was able to reschedule and will begin her 30-minute presentation on the Jefferson County Park Board at 11:00. Come learn about the board’s function and goals, as well as the many opportunities to recreate in our beautiful county. Time permitting, the meeting will close with another Fast Five. This presentation by member Dorie Westhoven will be on the herb rosemary.

You need not be a member to attend a WGC meeting. All are invited to attend for comradery and education. Hope to meet you on the 9th!
