Whitehall Garden Club Plant Sale Saturday, June 18

For all you plant lovers currently suffering sticker shock for the price of a 4-inch potted plant, the WGC is here to help with great deals at our plant sale. This Saturday, June 18th, WGC will be participating in the Community Garage Sale. Thanks to club members who have been thinning their long-established gardens and houseplants, we are pleased to offer approximately 150 plants for sale. There are between 15 to 20 perennial varieties for sale that coming from local gardens are well acclimated to Whitehall’s environment. This, combined with your loving stewardship, means your investment could last for years. Varieties for sale include Bee Balm, Viola, Sweet William, Catmint, Daisies, Penstemon, Obedient Plant, Ladies Mantle, Soapwort, Autumn Joy and Ground Cover Sedum, Gaillardia, Columbine, Lilac, Aloe, African Violets, and Sansevieria – the plant for people WITHOUT a green thumb! The club will also be offering tools, pots, and other miscellaneous treasures. Our collective gardening ADVICE is FREE (there is a good chance a Master Gardener or two will be onsite).

We will be open for business at 8 AM. Rumor has it there will be coffee. We are on the map at 27 Sugar Beet Row, Whitehall. Two other families are participating on the same site so LOTS of variety!!

Please plan ahead and bring small denomination dollars to pay for your purchases. Thank you so much for this consideration. Hope to see you this Saturday!
