We Are HER Information Lounge at Ledger May 4

From Thursday, May 4 to Friday, May 5, We Are HER will run its biggest fundraiser of the year, with a goal of raising $10,000 over the two days. $10,000 is enough to fully fund 10 first-time participants and three alumni survivors through their 2023 annual survivor retreat. Because of your generosity, We Are HER can continue to make a difference in the lives of survivors.

"The safest I have ever felt in my entire life was at the 2021 We Are HER Retreat," said Ana, a retreat participant.

Here are three ways you can make a life-changing difference in the lives of these survivors:

• Visit the Whitehall Ledger on Thursday, May 4, from 5 PM to 7 PM to learn more about the work We Are HER does. The Ledger is located at 405 West Legion.

• Donate via check with "Give Big" on the memo line

Additionally, there will be multiple opportunities to have your donation matched during the 24 hours of giving.

The Whitehall Ledger will be matching the first $1000 in donations.

The Star Theatre will give We Are HER $100 once 100 people have donated.
