Whitehall Garden Club (WGC) held its monthly meeting on June 3rd, the first Wednesday of the month, as usual. Hostesses Diane Ward and Dorie Westhoven provided a selection of light nibbles to sustain the group through the business meeting. Additionally, Linda Ruben brought a surprise dessert (prepared by her talented husband) to share: an unbelievably delicious crème caramel flan.
After the meeting adjourned, members were invited to drive the short distance to Sugar Beet Row Farm, owned and operated by Rick Williams, for a tour of their vegetable production.
