Whitehall School District is accepting applications for full-time elementary school custodian. This is a 12 month position. Shift hours during the school year are 3:00PM-11:30PM (Monday-Thursday), 2:30PM-11:00PM (Friday). In the summer, when school is out of session, this switches to day shift. Wage $12.09-$14.19/hour DOE; Health Insurance benefit - District contributes $533 (single individual) - $980 (full family insurance) per month depending upon health plan selected; employee monthly cost share for single individual is $127 per month for base plan; health insurance can be waived. JEFFERSON COUNTY - MECHANIC: A permanent, full-time position with Jefferson County at the Central Shop in Boulder, Montana. This position is under the supervision of the master mechanic and is responsible for serving as the secondary mechanic in conducting maintenance and repairs on the assigned equipment and vehicles belonging to Jefferson County. Mechanic is responsible for conducting maintenance and repair on the assigned equipment and vehicles belonging to the County, including patrol cars, small gas engines and light equipment. Duties include performing a wide variety of mechanical operations on light equipment, vehicles, trucks, small gas engines, and related equipment; designing and fabricating custom components; and providing on-site and emergency assistance. Repair equipment and vehicles in the field if necessary. The position may also provide operational support to County departments, and perform a variety of other duties as assigned. Must have education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED plus three to five years of a combination of education, training, and hands on experience in automotive and/or heavy equipment maintenance, repair, and computerized diagnostics, including experience in gasoline/diesel mechanics, machine tools, electronics, welding, heavy equipment operations, or related trade/technical field. Mechanics are required to complete the following training/accreditations within one year of hire. First Aid/CPR. Work Zone Safety Training. DOT Flagger Certification. A valid Montana Driver’s license is required. Class A CDL is preferred. The Town of Whitehall is now hiring for a Seasonal Part-time Public Works Laborer. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Main duties for 6 months will be mowing, weeding, and garbage removal from the cemetery, parks, street, boulevards and alleys. 2. Perform or assist in cemetery and park maintenance, duties consisting of placing headstone markers, digging and refilling graves, and replacing sprinklers. 3. Perform or assist in performance of maintenance and repair of streets and alleys. 4. Perform or assist in maintenance related to Town buildings, vehicles, tractors, tools, etc. and account for same. 5.
