The Whitehall Community Library will be hosting a “Read & Feed” event from 10 AM to noon Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23. The Friends of the Whitehall Library will be doing a “$1 bag day” sale with snack-making fun for all ages. Friday the Library hours will be 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM. A new historic tour will be offered by the Jefferson Valley Museum for the Frontier Days weekend. The tour will be offered three times on Friday, July 22nd at 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3:30 PM, and one time on Saturday, July 23rd at 2 PM. Each tour will last approximately 1.5 hours. The Bill Baycroft & Bob Casagrande Memorial Rod Run will begin following the “Whitehall’s Wild West” parade on Saturday, July 23 on the west end of Legion Park. This is an annual tradition of Frontier Days and has cars from across the Rocky Mountains participating in the festivities. The parade will begin lineup at the Whitehall Country Store east of town and proceed down Legion Avenue, bringing merriment with each passing float.
