  • JVFA Announces Christmas Show Cancellation

    MICHELE FRANICH|Nov 1, 2023

Jefferson Valley Fine Arts (JVFA) will not be conducting a Christmas Festival exhibit this year, as in the past. Although we had great artist participation last Festival, there was very little foot traffic. The logistics of providing a one-day show in the middle of winter is difficult for everyone involved and so regrettably the decision was made to cancel this show. We are looking for additional opportunities to provide exhibits throughout the year and more will be forthcoming on that in the future. Please note, however, the Frontier Days...

  • Jefferson Valley Fine Arts Adopts Mission, Vision

MICHELE FRANICH, Jefferson Valley Fine Arts|Nov 23, 2022

Jefferson Valley Fine Arts in Whitehall has recently adopted a formal mission and vision. The MISSION, simply being to provide the opportunity to area artists to exhibit their talents in a local event. Artist participation is key for JVFA to continue with this endeavor. Our last event hosted during Frontier Days showed a significant increase in artist participation over the 2021 season. However, we still are working to reach our pre-covid artist exhibition level. We will continue to host events if our exhibition costs are met. Our VISION is to...
