    Elmer Dean Ehlers passed away on September 21, 2023, at the Dillon Pioneer Nursing Home at the age of 88. Elmer was born to Henry and Amanda Ehlers in Burwell, Nebraska, on July 15, 1935. Elmer and his family moved from Nebraska to Keystone, South Dakota, in 1937. He spent his youth in Keystone, and on April 1, 1953, he married Mary Ann Goodart.     Kathryn "Kathy" Louise (Green) Ball passed away on September 20, 2023, at Ruby Valley Hospital in Sheridan, Montana. Kathy was born on March 26, 1945. She grew up on a small family ranch on the Wisconsin Creek. She attended school in Sheridan and graduated in 1963. On November 1, 1968, she married Clarence Ball and their family became a "yours, mine, and ours."     The last day to claim the Montana Property Tax Rebate is Monday, October 2. The Montana Department of Revenue is extending the deadline to claim the property tax rebate by one day to October 2.
