    If the Town of Whitehall were to join the Jefferson Valley Rural Ambulance District the decision would need to be made by registered voters. The process of how to get town voters to decide if they would join the district created in 2017 is however unclear.     On a cold and windy Montana morning, shovels broke the ground in what was a monumental day for Whitehall Public Transportation. A ground-breaking ceremony took place Monday, December 10 for the Richard (Dick) Gustin Memorial Bus Barn that will be located at 1173 HWY 55 in Whitehall.     In both of their games at last week's Manhattan Tip-Off Tournament the Whitehall High School girls basketball team trailed going into the fourth quarter. The Lady Trojans saved their best for last in both games with two dominant final quarters to come away with a 40-31 win over Deer Lodge and a 35-29 win over Ennis.     After dropping their first two games of the season, the Whitehall High School boys basketball team put together a tremendous effort in their third contest picking up a 56-37 win over Ennis at last week's Manhattan Tip Off Tournament.     The Whitehall High School wrestling team showed home fans they will be a force to be reckoned with during the 2018-19 season. Competing at the annual Whitehall Duals Tournament, the Trojans squad went 5-1 on their way to a third-place finish.
