The 63rd Annual Free Christmas Dinner, put on by the Veterans of Twin Bridges and the American Legion, will be on December 18th, 2021. Dinner is from 5PM to 7PM at the Twin Bridges School Lunch Room. A raffle will be held after the dinner, which, includes 2 each $200 meat packages from Western Meat Block and a Queen size quilt, with additional items donated by our local merchants. The BY's 4-H club met on December 4th at the fire hall to get our cookies ready for caroling. We went to the Meadowlark Manor, and to both Liberty Place locations. We brought them cookies and sang Christmas carols. We returned to the fire hall had our meeting, ate food, and had our Christmas party. We did a white elephant gift exchange this year. Every year, a new generation of trappers takes to the mountains and plains of Montana. Those new trappers need training and instruction, not only for safety and ethics, but also on how to truly enjoy the outdoor experience. At a Whitehall Saddle Club meeting in 1989, after a long year of Barrel Races, O-Mok-Sees, Horse Shows, and Rodeos a group of Whitehall Saddle Club members thought a Community Open House at the WSC Club House would be a great way to give back.
