    The Whitehall High School Cross Country will enter the 2016 season with a wealth of returning talent. When the team opens the season Saturday at a meet at Jefferson High School in Boulder, they will do so with the talented returning trio of Hunter Flynn, Ann Russell, and Justin Gipson.     After nearly a week of practice, local residents will get a chance to check out the Whitehall High School football and volleyball teams at their annual fall scrimmages.     Consistent high water temperatures and low stream flows have prompted Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks to close the entire Jefferson River to all fishing. The announcement was made Monday afternoon.
