A date has been set for the induction ceremony for the Whitehall High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2017. The ceremony will take place Saturday, March 25 starting at 6 p.m. at Whitehall High School. The 2017 event will mark the second class inducted into the Hall of Fame. Whitehall High School's Andrew Simon and Braden Larsen showed throughout the 2016 football season they were among the best players in Montana. The dynamic duo recently learned they will get one more chance to showcase their skills on the high school level. At their December meeting, members of the Community Transition Advisory Committee received an update about the recent general deer and elk hunting season in Southwest Montana. Vanna Boccadori a wildlife biologist for Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, told members that elk hunting during the season was very slow.
